Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] "Iatrogen" refers to a damage or a disease attributable to a therapeutic intervention: from the union with the term "pandemic" derives the neologism "iatrodemia" or the overexposure of doctors on TV and in talk shows like opinion makers, a phenomenon that ended up causing the opposite effect to the desired one: the loss of confidence in medicine and its representatives.
