As a consequence of an increasinglyflexible work environment, professional values nowadays play a more and more significant role. The present study, made up of two sections, offers a research project wich uses the Professionale Values Inventory (IVP; Boerchi, Castelli, 2000). The first part of the study aims to verify the existence of value differences between two different setting: occupational guidance and personel selection. The second part aims to analyze the relationship between the paper and pencil way of organization and computer assisted mode of the IVP. In both parts, reliability, validity of the test (with adult samples) and influence of certain important values (sex, age, quelification, professional condition) are investigated and confirmed.
