Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Following the attack at
Twin Towers of 11 September 2001 and other attacks of Islamic religious origin which occurred in particular in Europe, the security agencies of
various countries have begun to develop tools for risk and new assessment
threat.
The TRA-I - Terrorism Risk Assessment Instruments - are the operational product of that need and of the underlying reflections, developed with the
aim of being able to better assess the threat posed by radicalization processes and the activities associated with them
cognates such as propaganda, recruitment and financing. In recent years, with the advancement in Europe and in the States
United of forms of more or less organized extremism of the extreme right and white supremacism, the TRA-I are
object of a new reflection with respect to their adaptive capacity, resilience and effective evaluation of
multiple and varied paths of radicalization that we are witnessing.
