[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter deals with an area that has recently become increasingly important in the operations of banks. It examines the instruments and services offered by banks to customers in general, or to families, non-financial companies and the public administration, which include those for payment and collection and those that constitute the so-called indirect bank collection ( negotiation, custody and administration, consulting and asset management services). Alongside these, particular attention is also given to a series of banking services specifically addressed to non-financial companies (such as cash management and account pooling).
