Abstract

The Chapter Archives of the Cathedral of Vercelli preserve a group of seven parchment rolls with different texts: drawings for Euclides' Elementa, drawings with scenes from the Acts of the Apostles, a Mappamundi, sketches of the world history by Peter of Poitiers, of a commentary on Pater noster, of works by Gioacchino da Fiore. All are discussed, and their date and provenance is established.
