[Autom. eng. transl.] The increasing importance conferred by historiography on clients during the Middle Ages requires new insights on their possible role in the planning sphere and on the direct relationships between construction sites and workers. The verification is carried out through the examples of the Romanesque complexes of Galliano and Lenno.
