Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The text analyzes the concepts of justice and forgiveness as presented by Manzoni through various characters from "I Promessi Sposi". What emerges is a progressively elaborated theory, in the novel, of the idea of justice in terms opposite to the retributive paradigm, which are consonant with the perspective emerging today in the criminal law field of restorative justice.
