Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay deals with the professional qualification of Catholic religion teachers in public schools as a matter of concordat agreements and the division of competences between State and Catholic confession. It then examines, with particular reference to Italy, the definition of the university curriculum that allows to obtain a recognized qualification for this teaching. The contribution concludes with an examination of the problems, with regard to professional qualifications, deriving from the prospect of a non-denominational teaching of religion.
