Abstract
The essay investigates the method choices and research perspectives on the topic of Documentation in kindergartens, in particular on two axes: the relationships between the digital skills of educators and documentary practices; the identification of methodologies and tools capable of dealing with social and cultural changes affecting school and family. The perspective of Media Education appears to be a necessary and updated approach to decline according to new logics the concept of "educational co-responsibility" and the different phases of the teaching documentation,with particular attention to the pedagogical potential of digital storytelling.
