Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This reflection starts from the assumption that being active citizens, capable of understanding, acting and shaping one's own territory, able to make use of the material and immaterial resources available and to nourish the feeling of belonging, is first and foremost a question of local knowledge. Local knowledge can also become an important form of self-recognition, a tool for the development of alternative territorial visions and one's own "voice", for identifying original forms of sustainable development and for responding to the vulnerability of territories due to climate change, to natural events, the excesses of globalization and wars.
