Abstract

The increase in the quality of Child and Family Welfare interventions also depends on the promotion of the reflective practice in professionals working in services. The analysis of the internal training system of a non-governamental organization, the social cooperative La Grande Casa, located in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan), allows to know a history of organizational learning and understand the dynamics of the dialogue between the global flows of change in vulnerable child and family social care and a practical experience rooted in the local. More in detail, this paper explores the training plan oriented to support development processes and based on the reflective communities of inquiry, called Laboratori Tematici di Ricerca (Thematic Inquiry Workshops).
