Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The social condition of the youth group, today, is characterized by a structural ambivalence: on the one hand, it is objectively more favorable for the goals achieved by families and training agencies, which have 'incorporated' the vast majority of young people, offering them a capital higher cultural and therefore better life prospects; but on the other hand there is no correspondence between youth aspirations and the real offer of opportunities. The essay, shedding light on the youth issue, in terms of moratorium and disengagement with respect to their active social position, finally assesses the weakness of youth policies and the poor results of the Youth Guarantee measure, implemented in Italy since 2014.
