Abstract
This paper examines the story of the Celtic attack on Delphi in 279 B.C. with\r\nparticular attention to issues of historiographical nature and tries to define the\r\ntendency that characterize our tradition; it also takes into consideration the\r\ncritical interventions between the author’s contributions at the turn of the 80s\r\nand 90s and today, re-proposing the substantial validity of the positions then\r\nexpressed.
