Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The main objective of the study is to analyze the relationship between the role of linguistic mediation of children and their psychological well-being in a group of South American teenagers. The sample consists of 146 adolescents (79 females and 67 males), aged between 14 and 18, who read and speak the Italian language with mastery. The results confirmed the gender specificity in the assumption of this role and the lack of negative consequences on the psychological well-being of adolescents in the sample
