Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay proposes an analysis of linguistic education policies aimed at immigrant adults, using the multi-year project Certifica il italiano, made in Lombardy, as an observatory. In particular, the focus is on human resources involved in teaching Italian as a second language. The contribution presents the results of a research on teachers, describing their main characteristics, teaching experiences, strengths and weakness of teaching, finally identifying perspectives and challenges for linguistic policies aimed at the most fragile and low-school groups of foreign users.
