Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The spread of COVID-19 and the pandemic that followed has promoted the appeal to some contrast strategies based on digital tracking systems (so-called contact tracing). The questions that such control systems - based on algorithms - raise on the rights are numerous and extend from privacy to the protection of personal data, passing through the compression of fundamental freedoms (for example that of movement). The short-term benefits must therefore be compared to the effects that could be settle in a longer-term perspective.
