Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The book deals with the problem of the limitation of the "spiritual interpretation" of the Christian Scriptures, and of its conscience reflected by exegetes, for a time frame that goes from the first Christian centuries to the contemporary age. In the model of spiritual exegesis of the Scriptures of patristic and medieval literature, what is the limit of interpretation? Are we facing an "infinite interpretation"? Is there a limit? And if so (or, if not), how is this position justified?
