Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The paper reconstructs the complex interweaving of the canonical legislation on the protection of the cultural heritage of the Church. After a synthetic historical reconstruction of the interventions more data, using the classic distinction between universal and particular legislation, the contribution analyzes this sector of the norms of the Church starting from the interventions proposed by the Vatican Council II, the Canonical Code of 1983 and the numerous documents of the Pontifical Commission for the Church's cultural heritage. It then moves on to the examination of the particular right of the Italian Church which is dealt with alongside the purely canonical aspects, the interactions with the Italian civil law on the protection and enhancement of ecclesiastical cultural heritage and of religious interest.
