Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The present work proposes the study of the poetic language of the Songs of Dzitbalché. Despite its importance in the literary field, the texts contained in this Mayan manuscript have received little interest from a rhetorical point of view. However, the use of parallelisms and other semantic deepening figures make this work a masterful example of Mayan poetry. Likewise, an influence of the Hispanic tradition can be observed in the texts at a morphosyntactic and thematic level, which will also be analyzed and discussed throughout the work.
