Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The problem of technique is connected to the problem of metaphysics, or rather to the hidden destiny of metaphysics, in which the totality of the entity is reduced to an object for a subject. It is precisely from the way in which Heidegger conceives the metaphysics that achieves a specific interpretation of the contemporary world, a way of interpreting our age. We live in the time of technology as an essential manifestation of modern time. The technique is not simply a means for Heidegger, it is a "way of unveiling". What is the form of metaphysics that leads directly to the technique intended as a horizon from which to measure the value of things by subordinating the sense of the same man? How can technique, as a mere instrument used by man to open a passage in history, become the very measure of man, his stable condition of existence? Heidegger attributes the cause of this inversion of values to the imposition of the metaphysics of subjectivity,
