Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The article aims to address the issue of the hate speech starting from the definition of the concept, to deepen the motivations for which it is a decisive question for the school - also for primary school - engaged in the educational task. It is a topic that brings the field of media education, communication skills, emotional control and digital citizenship to the field. Acts and hate crimes, towards individuals as well as groups, are the result of a path made possible by previous mechanisms of derision, exclusion and discrimination, with responsibility both of those who act actively and passively.
