«¿Has estado ya en Macondo?» Edición de textos caribeños en traducción y estereotipos. El caso de Rita Indiana

[Autom. eng. transl.] The problems of interpretation that arise as a result of a disagreement between cultures have multiple facets: literary, political, cultural. In the literary field there is very little reflection on the reasons that drive the selection of works in translation and in this way the repetition of certain practices (editing, but also cultural) that may influence the reception of a work. Taking as a starting point the analysis of the Italian edition of the novel Names and animals of Rita Indiana in the present study I propose to reflect on the dynamics that influence the proposal of a book in translation, approaching the analysis of editorial practices from a socio-literary view that will allow me to call into question the subalternizing practices that on many occasions are set in motion from the literary field of reception of a work and end up replicating the practices of the subaltern or push towards the application of re-transducible reading filters to stereotypes cultural.
