[Autom. eng. transl.] From the analysis of the reported incidents, it is found that many injuries could have been avoided if there had been greater "attention to safety" on the part of those working in the field, as they are linked to errors derived from ignorance, inattention, laziness, superficiality and so on. The behaviors depend on the elaboration that the individual makes of the stimuli coming from the environment: the estimation of the probability of incurring a danger depends on the knowledge, skills, experiences (perception of risk) and on the tendency to face or avoid dangerous situations (propensity to risk) that characterizes the individual. However, sector studies have shown that employees' adherence to safety programs depends, rather than on individual variables, on the safety culture present in the company and on the involvement of management. To offer a contribution to the creation of good practices of people and organizations, the work proposes a sort of catalog of possible tools that must be inscribed in a precise cultural and systemic choice. What the reader will find in the pages of the volume, therefore, is not a recipe, but rather the ingredients that must be experimented and dosed according to the objective that one wants to achieve and that contribute to creating a culture of safety.
