Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the "Quaderni dal carcere" Gramsci engages a melee with the paradoxes of popular culture and the role of intellectuals, and launches a precious message of moral and political dissidence. In this anthological volume the essential passages of the "Quaderni dal carcere" are collected and reorganized according to a new interpretation of Gramscian thought, provocatively unhooked from the readings of orthodox Marxism and brought back to its frankly in-current dimension, also in light of the influences it has known to exercise all over the world, where the contradictions of power and inequality are present.
