Good faith and the principles of european contract law

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

The aim of this study is to show that, contrary to what one can consider, good faith is not a category known only to the European continental systems. Thus the Principles of European contract law, which have adopted good faith to a broaden extent have well interpreted the actual evolution of European contract law with respect to this. References to some articles of PECL illustrate that in them one can find the various meanings derived from the original Roman bona fides.
