Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution presents the regional and national data on the presence of foreign users in the various training sectors, in light of the importance of the FP in the process of social integration of non-Italian citizens. As regards the initial FP, we examine the demand for young people in VET right and duty and job orientation / integration, with data (from accredited regional sources) and results of recent research on the characteristics of foreign users and problems of match demand / offer training. Where possible, comparative interpretations are made with Italian users. For those concerning continuous education, the question of adult literacy / language training (Indire, Isfol, Min. Lavoro, Censis data) is examined and the presence of foreigners is characterized in the different types of offer. This is linguistic and civic training; FSE for unemployed; Fpi for permanent workers. Overall, the proportion of foreign adults attending continuing education courses, despite being more extensive than in the past, is relatively lower than their presence in the labor market, if compared with that of the natives.
