Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution is divided into five paragraphs. In the first one the path that led to the development of forms of social control of prostitution will be briefly traced, through a historical and sociological analysis. The second paragraph will illustrate, through the reference to some European projects, the joint supranational intervention aimed at combating forms of exploitation and combating trafficking. The third paragraph is dedicated to the forms of prevention and harm reduction related to the phenomenon of prostitution in the full sense, including the invisible ones. The next paragraph deals with the issue of social reintegration with reference to interventions related to job placement, training and finding housing for victims of exploitation and trafficking. Finally, in the conclusions some reflections will be developed on the critical issues related to intervention policies and some proposals will be made to respond to the challenges concerning the evolution of the phenomenon in terms above all of greater invisibility and complexity.
