Abstract
Adolescents nowadays are often oppressed by a sense of meaninglessness that depends on the uncertainty and crisis of values of our society. In order to help them plan their future, avoiding narcissism and despair, we need to recover a meaning-oriented education, based on self-transcendence rather than on self-actualization.
