Giustizia, perdono, pace

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution reflects on what notion of justice can constitute a presupposition of peace, in light of the observation of how the idea of justice based on reciprocity of behavior (and therefore on the penal pay model) has largely favored the logic of conflict and the very diffusion of war. A vision of justice is proposed as planning according to the good in front of the reality of evil, considering from such a perspective the biblical roots and the secular reasons. It is evident that the Constitution itself eschews the idea that acting in a manner consistent with human dignity depends on a judgment on the existential condition or on the qualities of a given individual. The result is reliefs on the concept of forgiveness and on the paths to peace.
