Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Healthcare is characterized by a particular "sensitivity" to the theme of justice, and the evaluation of the satisfaction of the criteria of an equitable allocation of resources, in their various forms, is an integral part of the ethical analyzes in the HTA processes. This type of evaluation has generally considered justice according to a short-term perspective. The case of the so-called "unsustainable drugs", and in particular the various proposals that are being proposed to finance them, increasingly denote the difficulty of applying the criteria used so far, and the need to develop new frameworks, able to take into account the intergenerational perspective . This is a rather complex work, considering the fact that the theories of justice on which the health systems themselves are based do not offer simple solutions, when the subject of resource allocation is tackled from a medium-long term perspective. The paper intends to address the issue of intergenerational justice in Health, taking the case of the evaluation of "unsustainable drugs". In particular, the implications that this theme has for the conduct of ethical analyzes in HTA processes will be deepened.
