Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The Pozzoli Manual was the first published in Italy, with some delay on the European tradition, lively in this sense since the seventeenth century. Here are the pages of the manual dedicated to the hygiene of the printer, as a testimony of the living conditions of the typographical workers in the late nineteenth century.
