The six chapters into which the volume is divided seem to be the stages of an itinerary that the reader must travel to get out of the disorientation of the dark forest of the Prelude to conquer the special Easter of the Epilogue. The volume closes with an impressive critical apparatus which includes, in addition to the substantial bibliography, four very useful indexes.
