Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Being the introductory essay of the anastatic reprint of the "Commentaria" by Giason del Maino, the genesis of them was presented: from the lessons, framed in his academic curriculum, to their editions. Even so young as to be able to take advantage of the press revolution and already so asserted as to arouse the interest of printers, Giason del Maino was one of the first professors of law to take care of the publication of his works and to personally prepare the texts that facilitated the work of the printers to him contemporaries and later centuries
