Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] What dynamics, behaviors and collective processes determine the actions of individuals and groups in organizational contexts? The psychology of organizations responds to these questions: without neglecting the economic, sociological, anthropological perspective, the analysis focuses on the psychological point of view, which allows us to examine in depth the relational complexity characteristic of organized work. All the topics of greatest interest and relevance are developed in the nineteen chapters that make up the manual. In particular, the text examines the processes of communication, knowledge management, decision-making, cooperation and conflict, which are fundamental in determining individual and collective efficacy, the quality of products, services and work life itself. The issues related to the management of organizational change and emergencies are analyzed, to the processes of exchange between supply and demand, to social marketing and to the issue of sustainability. Attention is also paid to the collective dimension, to the organizational culture and climate, which represent the containers of thoughts and emotions, able to guide the behavior of individuals as well as of the entire organization.
