Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Current climate change requires adaptation of cultivation techniques. In hot and dry years, the phenomena of excessive dehydration of the berries deserve attention with the synthesis of strongly unbalanced aromas towards typical over-ripening scents, up to the serious sunburn damages. In the long run it will be necessary to provide for a revision of the ampelographic platform and at the same time, in the immediate future, it will be necessary to implement defense strategies in order to limit the damage caused by thermal and radiative excesses.
