Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Between the spring of 2011 and that of 2012, at the initiative of the Libreria Editrice Vaticana, ten large Italian universities have opened the doors to an unprecedented cultural event: in a passionate and profound debate, Italian and European theologians and academics, believers and non-believers , discussed and read in front of a large public of students and teachers the bestseller of Joseph Ratzinger - Benedict XVI Jesus of Nazareth. This volume documents this debate, reporting the contributions of the eminent personalities who participated. Therefore an interdisciplinary study derives from it (as it is the very figure of Jesus Christ that is transversal to all the fields of knowledge) capable of involving both expert scholars and young students of classical and scientific subjects, in a debate that has been unanimously considered as one of the great cultural innovations of our time.
