Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The chapter aims to outline a multidimensional panorama of restorative justice in Europe through the illustration and analysis of its development, including theory, practices, policies and research. The contribution offers a detailed account of the origin, maturation and consolidation of restorative justice in the light of European and international regulatory evolution, scientific research and experiments undertaken.
