Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Adolescence is that phase of the life cycle in which the transition from child to adult status occurs, through profound physical, intellectual, social, psychological and moral changes (Confalonieri & amp; Grazzani Gavazzi, 2002). Within these changes, the adolescent has to face some developmental tasks: the creation of a mental image of his own corporeality, the construction of a friend network, the experimentation of a couple relationship and his own reference values, etc. . It is a time of life characterized both by a wealth of possibilities and by tiring uncertainty (Modell & amp; Goodman, 1990), which involves not only adolescents, but the whole adult world around them. The demands and challenges faced by adolescents are numerous and they must be able to experiment in multiple contexts of life (family, school, peer group, etc.) and test the different social roles that can be covered ( Scabini, Marta & amp; Lanz, 2006). The outcome of this process cannot be defined a priori and "finding a compass" to effectively succeed in the transition is not an easy task. A spontaneous and provocative question therefore arises: how can these development tasks (and needs) be combined with the containment measures implemented to deal with a pandemic? This research report cannot fail to address the issue that worries the world so much today adult: how did Trentino adolescents face the pandemic, what repercussions did it have on them and, above all, what resources are they putting in place to deal with it? The report presents the results obtained through the questionnaires completed by adolescents from 13 schools in Trentino in the period between 26 March and 1 June 2021 and the focus groups conducted between the end of May and the beginning of June 2021. this report consists of three parts. The first aims to offer some brief theoretical insights on adolescence, combining them with the challenges posed by the pandemic. Particular reflections will be dedicated to the world of relationships, the school context and DAD. The second part presents the methodology used and the results of the quantitative part, ie conducted by filling in a questionnaire by 948 students from Trentino. Finally, the third part reports the results of the 4 focus groups in which 25 Trentino adolescents took part.
