Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution deals with the issue of procreation obtained through technologies and the anthropological and psychological consequences of this phenomenon that has been occurring for years in Western societies. In what sense is the procreative fact a fact of nature? What are its impassable limits? If, and how, can we identify the species-specific characteristics of human generation? Where should the origin of the generation be placed? What are the possible consequences of 'generating technology' both from the point of view of the generating and the generated?
