Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The theme of responsibility unfolds several times among Nietzsche's works, from Human, too human (1878) to Twilight of idols (1889). Often it is little more than a lightning hint, at other times it has a slightly more structured tone. The fact is that, through his aphoristic style and the forge of his vehement controversies, Nietzsche seems to savor the importance that this concept has had, and still has, for the human world. If his proposals seem to kill responsibility on the one hand and restrict it to a select few on the other, his demolitions of the various declinations of responsibility suggest which roads are surely to be abandoned. By destroying responsibility, Nietzsche offers a counter-phenomenology of the false idols with which humanity has understood this word so far, suggesting some possible redemptions between the lines.
