Gaute Heivoll. Identità di un piromane fra il mistery e il memoir

The ghosts of collective memory are perhaps no less real than historical events: "If we sit and reflect, we slowly begin to understand. In the end it seems the only right thing. And in fact it's what you do. There is no other choice. We go around collecting the pieces in the apron. »And it is precisely this that Gaute Heivoll does with writing, slowly collects the pieces of an identity that only gradually takes shape. It is his identity, reconstructed through the fragments of history that lie enclosed in that "magic circle" that delimits and at the same time imprisons his native village.
