Abstract
On the occasion of the eighth centenary of the historic meeting between Francis of Assisi and the Sultan al-Malik al-Kamil an exhibition of a historical nature was organized, presented at the 40th Meeting for Friendship among Peoples (Rimini, 18-24 August 2019). This volume, in addition to the exhibition catalogue, contains some introductory essays by authors from different countries. A section is dedicated to the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land.
