Abstract

The paper analyzes the training courses for parents made since 1990 by the Institute "Pro Familia" of Brescia. The critical reading of the formative experiences carried out over more than two decades is developed around two key thematic axes: - The epistemological need to outline the differences between education and training, emphasizing the active role of the participants in the training courses through the enhancement of parents’ experience, as a factor of transformative learning; - The aim of identifying effective organization and management of such training courses, in order to create a genuine "learning community".
