Abstract
This explorative and qualitative research examines the pro-IS digital community on the Telegram platform through a digital ethnography approach. The process to gather information is used mainly as a covert participant observation as fieldwork to gain knowledge about beliefs, activities, relationships, and social beliefs of the world of this community. Then it has been possible to learn more about how IS supporters organize their daily activities within the digital caliphate. For that reason, the author has spent an extended time on the pro-IS Telegram network, more than two years, mainly from 2017 to 2019, intending to observe, move inside the community and document experiences whenever possible.
