Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The purpose of this essay is to outline the main characteristics of sovereign wealth funds, their investment strategies, their impacts on global markets, the current and future dimensions of their assets, to determine the role they will play in the post-financial global crisis especially as regards the balance of economic and financial power between developed and emerging countries.
