Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This manual is intended for students of economic sociology and for those approaching the discipline for the first time. In the first part (The authors of reference) the relevance of classical and contemporary authors for the understanding of the dynamics and problems of today's society is illustrated. The second part (The toolbox) aims to socialize students to the importance of empirical research methods and techniques, showing that economic sociology is able to respond scientifically to theoretically relevant research questions. The third part (Research themes and paths) focuses on old and new subjects of the discipline, with a look at contemporary issues: from the business world, to the labor market, to the relationship with finance, to the dynamics of local development. The manual is accompanied by a large digital apparatus of educational-functional resources available online.
