FMT for ulcerative colitis: closer to the turning point.

Abstract

A new study shows that a sustainable faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT)\r\ntreatment protocol, including anaerobic sample preparation, induces\r\nremission of active ulcerative colitis. The promising results are another piece\r\nin the puzzle, but it is not yet possible to draw conclusions and implement the\r\nprocedure in clinical practice.
