Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The thought of the twentieth century posed a new problem alongside those traditionally dealt with by philosophy, that is, philosophy itself, which perceives its very existence as a problem when the sciences seem to exhaust the domain of knowledge, reducing the legacy philosophy of a time when sciences were not yet sufficiently developed. The volume deals with this problem from different angles that correspond to some significant philosophical perspectives and schools of the twentieth century and the early 2000s to reiterate the meaning and function of philosophy in our time.
