Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution investigates the motivations that led Strawson to become interested in metaphysics, after having dealt with themes related to logic and the philosophy of ordinary language. He in fact believes that ordinary language expresses our thoughts on the world and therefore that the roots of logic sink into gnoseological questions which, in turn, recall ontological aspects.
