Filologia e questioni di lingua tra Vincenzo Monti e Giulio Perticari

[Autom. eng. transl.] The failed edition of the "Dittamondo" designed by the Savignanese Giulio Perticari and left unfinished due to his untimely death in June 1822, traced by six manuscripts now preserved in the Oliveriana Library of Pesaro, allows, on the one hand, to illustrate the ecdotic methodology for the constitution of the text followed by Perticari and his father-in-law Vincenzo Monti, who came to his aid on numerous occasions; on the other, through the comparison with the latter's works, he shows how for Monti the work on the "Dittamondo" constituted an interesting starting point for reflection on the linguistic level and how some ideas born during the work on the poem show significant points of tangency with at least two of his works, the Postille alla Crusca Veronese by Cesari and the later "Proposition". The article illustrates analytically the editorial procedures of the Perticari-Monti couple and, in the perspective of copyright philology, then relates the latter's work to the most significant Montane corrections and annotations found on Perticari autographs.
